Chamber width
In order to offer a suitable felt saddle for every horse, it is available in two different gullet designs: L'amour and Saffa.
Then there are saddles for mini Shetlands, Shetlands, Welsh, and ponies because they simply have a back that is too short for a normal-sized felt saddle, and the variants of the models "Saffa" and "L'amour" in the versions Baroque, Skuggi, Classic, Dressage or Minimal (see models).
Despite differing appearances, the seating characteristics are the same for all models when the upholstery is the same.
When riding for the first time, make sure to find the grooves for your thighs on either side of the spine behind the withers in the saddle to properly utilize the riding characteristics of the felt saddle. When girthing, please ensure that the billets run diagonally forward from the saddle towards the girth area to guarantee an optimal saddle fit. Always girth gently for the horse's comfort. Custom-made saddles are available for a small additional charge. We can individually adjust the girth, padding, back or side length, as well as the shape of the topline of the saddle. Models
Despite their different appearances, all models offer the same seating comfort with identical upholstery. The straps and padding can be individually adjusted if needed.
Skuggi
The understated design appears sporty and subtle.
Minimal
The rounded shape with very short saddle flaps is suitable for all horse lovers who want to have little and functional equipment on their horse.
Baroque
The unique look makes this felt saddle a real eye-catcher.
Classical
With its clean lines, this saddle looks particularly elegant.
Dressage
For those who love simple designs. Shown here as a therapy saddle.

Ideal for dressage. Designed for competitive riders - includes felt padding.

Variants
Saddle length
The standard back length of our saddles is 50 cm. This length is also variable. Each additional 5 cm costs €40; for intermediate sizes, we charge the next larger length.
The standard total flap length of our saddles is 45 cm. This length is also variable. Each additional 5 cm of depth costs €40.
For intermediate sizes, we calculate the next larger length.
upholstery
For horses with very little back muscle, or for mules or donkeys, we can adjust the padding and cut accordingly. Of course, this is also possible for horses with particularly strong shoulder muscles. The padding can also be customized for the rider. Just ask us!

reflectors
To ensure your horse is easily visible in the dark, we offer reflective piping around the saddle and along the comfort padding, as well as reflective trim at the front and back. The piping and reflective trim can also be retrofitted.
